Iran Calls The Cops On Israel

March 2, 2009 by Justin View Comments

From Fox News:

Iran’s judiciary has demanded Interpol issue arrest warrants for 15 Israeli officials, Iranian state television reported Monday, in connection to what Tehran calls “war crimes” committed against Gaza Palestinians during Israel’s recent offensive in the coastal strip.

Full Article

I doubt anything will come of this; it’s really more of Iran’s public relations war against Israel.  If they can convince the world that Israeli’s are criminals unjustly bullying Hamas, then nobody will care when Iran finally nukes Tel Aviv…sadly.

Iranian Military Commander: No Oil For Israel's Supporters!

January 4, 2009 by Justin View Comments

From Reuters:

An Iranian military commander called on Islamic countries to cut oil exports to Israel’s supporters in response to the Jewish state’s offensive in Gaza, the official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday.

This is excellent news for Canada; It’s where both the U.S. and Israel get most of their oil.  Maybe the rest of the gang will jump on the northern bandwagon?

Lame Duck Bush Promises To Keep Iran In Check

December 5, 2008 by Justin View Comments

From Haaretz:

U.S. President George W. Bush reiterated his pledge that the United States will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons in a wide ranging speech on the Middle East Friday.

Full Article

You know, one of the things I’ve respected about Bush is his support of Israel (though his desire to form a Palestinian State during his administration often clouded his judgement).  However, does his word really matter now?  He’s out of office in a month, so what really matters right now is the next guy’s stance on Iran’s nuclear aspirations.

Al Qaeda Praises Iran

November 24, 2008 by Justin View Comments

Yeah, I’m not shocked, either.

Fresh links between Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and al-Qaeda have been uncovered following interception of a letter from the terrorist leadership that hails Tehran’s support for a recent attack on the American embassy in Yemen, which killed 16 people.

While The World Turns A Blind Eye: Iran Could Fuel A Nuclear Weapon

November 20, 2008 by Justin View Comments

From the International Herald Tribune:

Iran has now produced roughly enough nuclear material to make, with added purification, a single atom bomb, according to nuclear experts analyzing the latest report from global atomic inspectors.

Full Article

Well, now we get to see if Iran was telling the truth about using nuclear energy for fuel, or if they’ll try to “wipe Israel off the map.”  I’m hoping for the former, but expect the latter.

Iran Already Trying To Find That "Steel" In Obama's Spine

November 5, 2008 by Justin View Comments

From The Jerusalem Post:

Iran’s state radio said Wednesday the country’s military had warned US forces that their helicopters in Iraq were flying too close to the Iranian border.

Full Article

The powers-that-be in Iran also congratulated Obama, but mark my words, this issue will lay relatively dormant until sometime after January 20th, and then the guy who wanted to talk with Iran will have to decide what to do with them as an aggressor.

There you have it; my first prediction for President Obama’s first 100 days.

Is Ahamadinejad Calling It A Career?

October 24, 2008 by Justin View Comments

Following reports that Iranian leader’s health is failing, local website quotes Ahmadinejad associates as saying he may not take part in 2009 presidential elections due to exhaustion

Full Article

Considering that the current Ayatollah is also an Israel hater, this won’t exactly fix anything regarding Israeli-Iranian relations. All that really happens is Iran loses a big mouth-piece, the world assumes everything is fine as a result, and Israel stands alone against Iran and its proxies.

Mughniyeh's Replacement Appointed by…Iran?

October 10, 2008 by Justin View Comments

Eight months after he was assassinated in a meticulously-planned car bombing in Damascus, Hizbullah arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh has been succeeded by a senior Iranian intelligence official, an Italian newspaper reported Thursday, indicating an Iranian determination to consolidate its control over the Lebanese group.

Full Article

I guess it’s so well-known that Hizb’Allah is an Iranian proxy that nobody is pretending otherwise anymore.

My question: If Iran controls Hizb’Allah, and Hizb’Allah is either at war or threatening war with Israel, doesn’t this give Israel the right to make a strike on Iran proper?

Olmert: "…Russian policy will continue to be one that will never, in any circumstances, hurt Israel's security…"

October 7, 2008 by Justin View Comments

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Tuesday he received assurances that Russia would not allow Israel’s security to be threatened, but offered no indication he had won the concrete promises he sought on Russian arms sales or sanctions on Iran.

Full Article

And Olmert actually believed them! *snicker*

In all seriousness, I’m starting to think Ehud Olmert might be the most gullible politician in the world today.  Russia is selling arms to a country that wants to wipe Israel off the map.  How does that protect Israel’s security?
