By Amir Oren

Saddam Hussein’s intelligence service collected information on dozens of sites in Israel, including airports, other transportation centers, as well as scientific and religious centers that were thought to be potential targets for attacks.

He Didn't Give at the Office

By Scott W. Johnson

The story of Arafat’s blood donation was reported around the world in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, usually accompanied by photographs depicting Arafat in the apparent act of giving blood at the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Enderlin elaborated on his contention that the scene depicted in the photographs was staged. According to Pollak’s account of Enderlin’s remarks, “Arafat didn’t like needles, and so the doctor put a needle near his arm and agitated a bag of blood. So, this may be another case of “Pallywood” in action. However, since AIDS killed Arafat, it’s probably better that this turns out to be true.

PA Arabs in Hamas terror-controlled Gaza will mark the day on Monday.

arafat Arafat's doctor: His blood had HIV, but poison killed him
Late Palestinian Authority chairman Yasser Arafat’s blood contained the deadly HIV virus, Arafat’s personal physician told Jordanian media over the weekend. Dr. Ashraf al-Kurdi stressed, however, that Arafat did not die of AIDS – which is caused by the virus.

Jordanian news site Amman quoted al-Kurdi – a former Jordanian health ministry official – as saying that the virus had been injected into Arafat’s bloodstream close to his death, and that the real cause of the chairman’s death was poison.

Full Story (Haaretz)

I must admit that in 2004 I really wasn’t into international politics, so I don’t know if the “Arafat was poisoned by Israel” story was getting as much press as it has in the last couple of days. However, this really comes across as a combination of damage control and blaming Israel to further an agenda.

A little more confirmation

August 8, 2007 by Justin View Comments

Yes, Yasser Arafat died of AIDS. Well, I believe the proper diagnosis is, “complications resulting from AIDS,” but you know what I mean.
