Tancredo passed on that, choosing instead to tour the country <a href="http://cbs4denver.com/local/tom.tancredo.Western.2.1799092.html" target="_blank" title="Tancredo Wants Obama Impeached Over Borders (CBS 4 Denver)">making outrageous claims against the President</a>.</p> <p>Now, don’t get me wrong, I think something needs to be done about the <strong>illegal </strong>immigration issue, and President Obama’s increase in executive and overall federal government power needs to be reversed. However, I cannot stand behind Tancredo. This is the type of “lunatic fringe” speech that paints us all in a bad light. Tancredo is a big name, and that big name representing the “crazier” side of the conservative/libertarian contingent will get more press than anyone else.
